BESTWAVE.ZIP - A sorted collection of .WAV files for OS/2

After I got my sound card, I started looking for some good
sound clips. Unfortunately, some of the larger collections
include .WAV files that die with an error (at least on my
hardware), and there's a lot of garbage out there that isn't
even worth considering.

This collection is an edited sampling of the best StarTrek,
cartoon, noises, voices, and movie clips. The .WAV files are
pre-sorted into folders, to make them easy to review. Once
the file is unzipped, just double-click on any .WAV file to
bring up the Digital Audio Player.

Note: you can *also* use drag & drop to *drop* a file onto the
digital player while it's open! It will close the file in use,
and open the new file. This is a lot easier than opening a new
instance of the player for each .WAV file.

Another excellent source for good .WAV clips is the shareware
game called ROIDS (currently ROIDS23.ZIP). If you like playing
Mahjongg, try replacing the "remove tile" sound with "exploding
asteroid" - it's a definite improvement!

Enjoy!
