1. IBM SOLD RECORD NUMBERS OF OS/2 WARP AT END OF 1995

Total OS/2 sales now top 12 million worldwide. IBM sold one
million OS/2 Warp licenses in December bringing the total for
OS/2 Warp to six million.

"We expected OS/2 Warp sales to rise after customers had a
chance to try out Windows 95," said Wally Casey, director of
marketing and brand management for IBM Personal Software
Products. "December brought us proof of this when our sales
reached an all-time high, capping what we believe was a very
successful year for the OS/2 Warp family of products."

OS/2 customer Greg Bell, says,"After evaluating Windows 95, I'm not
surprised that OS/2 sales are up."He followed up with,
"In a business environment I'm staying away from Windows 95 and
sticking with OS/2."

Success of OS/2-compatible applications rose with sales of
the operating system. OS/2 developers like SPG Inc., WitchDesk
Inc., PowerQuest and Computer Data Strategies all experienced
strong sales in the fourth quarter of 1995. And Stardock
System's OS/2-based Galactic Civilizations was voted Best Game of
1995 on the Internet PC Games Charts, a site on the Internet
where computer game players vote weekly on their favorite PC
games.

IBM will capitalize on a successful 1995 by connecting
computer users to each other and the future with a comprehensive
offering of OS/2-based products in 1996. The industry-acclaimed
OS/2 Warp Server will simplify distributed computing for
businesses and workgroups of all sizes when it ships this
quarter.

3. ESCOM OS/2 SYSTEMS STANDARDIZE WITH STARDOCK'S OBJECT DESKTOP

Stardock has announced that Escom, one of the largest PC manufacturers
in Europe has made Object Desktop the standard desktop on all
OS/2 preloaded systems that they ship. Both Vobis and Escom have
been preloading Object Desktop since late last year.

"We are very excited to see that Object Desktop is doing so well in
Europe." said Brad Wardell, President, Stardock Systems, Inc. "I believe
we are well on our way to making Object Desktop the standard environment
for both corporate and end users of OS/2."

According to Indelible Blue, Object Desktop was their third best
selling OS/2 product for 1995 and it wasn't even released until
October.

With its powerful features for advanced users coupled with its much
desired ease-of-use enhancements for new OS/2 users, Object Desktop has
something for every type of user.

Object Desktop lists for $99.95 but has a special introductory price of
$89.95 from Stardock Systems. You can obtain it from any software

4. RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS INDICATE CONTINUED MOMENTUM FOR OS/2 WARP

In addition to the stellar December sales record for OS/2 Warp,
1995 marked entire year of accomplishments.

Recent accomplishments from the OS/2 Warp team include:
-OS/2 WARP CONNECT: an operating system with connectivity
features ideal for PC users whether they work in small
 workgroups or in large enterprises.
-OS/2 WARP SERVER BETA: a beta that received widespread approval from
the industry and is right on track for a first quarter '96 shipment.
-DIRECTORY AND SECURITY SERVER BETA :when combined with OS/2 Warp Server
offers customers a solution that no other server OS currently provides.
-THE NEXT GENERATION OF OS/2 WARP - Development is continuing on
this exciting project targeted to arrive during 1996.

IBM intends to continue to gain market share with OS/2 Warp -- both as a
desktop or mobile client operating system as well as a server operating
system.

5. GAMES PLAY BETTER WITH OS/2 WARP

Kali/2 Enhances Game Play on the Internet

Serious game players can now do battle across the Internet better than
ever before, even with popular DOS games. With Kali/2 for OS/2 Warp,
multiplayer games written for Novell networks can now communicate on the
Internet. Players report that they can now shoot 'em up with many more
opponents, thanks to OS/2 Warp's superior multitasking.

Kali/2's developer, Jay Cotton, needed only four hours to convert to OS/2
Warp using the IBM TCP/IP for DOS Programmer's Kit. Almost right away,
Kali/2 testers noticed that they could play against many more opponents
at the same time. OS/2 Warp's built-in 32-bit Internet software handles
the communications more efficiently than DOS or Windows, enhancing game-
play.

The latest test version of Kali/2 is available on the World Wide Web from
either of the following addresses:
     ftp://ftp.axxis.com/pub/kali/kalios2.zip
     ftp://ftp.kali.net/pub/kali/kalios2.zip
The cost to register is just $20, with free upgrades.

OS/2 Warp is rapidly becoming the software of choice for power game
players. Stardock's "Galactic Civilizations for OS/2 Warp" won Best of
Show at the Consumer Electronics Show (January, 1996) and its sequel,
"Galactic Civilizations 2 for OS/2 Warp" is the fastest rising title on
the Internet PC Games list. Other OS/2 Warp games from Stardock, Maxis,
IBM, and several other companies have been released recently, including
"Avarice Preview," "IBM's Family FunPak," "SimCity 2000," and "Lemmings."

If you'd like to bring your application to the over 12 million OS/2
users, for work or play, please contact IBM's Worldwide Developer
Assistance Program. The Internet mail address is wwdap@vnet.ibm.com.

10. WARP'D HUMOR

"You want to have consistent and uniform muscle development
across all your muscles? It can't be done. It's just a fact of
life. You just have to accept inconsistent muscle development as an
unalterable condition of weight training."

--Response to Arthur Jones, who solved the "unsolvable"
problem by inventing Nautilus.
