For the sound input from the ext1 connector you will have to set
the values for the s0_amux driver variable to a different number.

The s0_amux, s1_amux s2_amux and s3_aumx variables control
the routing of audio across the TV card to the video connector.
s0, s1, s2, and s3 represent the video connector number.

if you use the command

vxpvar wcast 1 s0_amux 2

You should get sound on the external connector. You
will have to change connectors with the TV application
after using the vxpvar command as the change isn't
recognized until the connector selection is changed.
You can vary the "2" to some other value like 0, 1, 2, 3 4
and try those out. The "2" value is the one that works on my
particular card.

RE: the monochrome picture, what colour depth are you
using, the TV driver will only do monochrome if your
colour depth is greater than 256 colours (like 65,000)
at 256 it defaults to monochrome output.
