Retire your sneakernet....IBM has an unattended, electronic software
distribution solution to your desktop TODAY.

These storyboards describe IBM Software Distribution; highlighting NetView
DM, NetView DM/2 and the CID process.  They are intended as an overview
for Customers interested in learning about IBM's strategic Software
Distribution offering.

The following overview stories are:
   NVDM2        For the 486 machine
   NVDM2CON     For the 486 machine (continuous running)
   NVDM2386     For the 386 machine
   NVDM386C     For the 386 machine (continuous running)

The following demonstration story which goes through the actual processes
and screens required to do software distribution using NetView DM/2 is:
   NVDMDEMO     For the 486 machine

For the most effective and animated story, we HIGHLY recommend that
you use a 486 machine.

Self-extracting ZIP files, NVDM2.EXE for the overview stories and
NVDMDEMO for the demonstration story, are provided which can be run on
any PC with DOS or OS/2.  Copy NVDM2.EXE and/or NVDMDEMO.EXE to a
temporary directory on your hard disk (e.g. D:\NVDMSTOR, D:\NVDMDEMO or
D:\TEMP).  From that directory, unpack the story by entering NVDM2 and/or
NVDMDEMO.

To start a story, enter
  ST <name of story> (as specified above)
in a full screen (OS/2 or DOS). While watching the story, you may use the
following commands:
  ESC.........End story
  PAUSE.....Freeze story (or ALT+F10)
  ENTER.....Resume story (or +)
