I would say this is a interpretation (I would need to study it more, but I
don't have time)

It is, and has been for quite a while. If you are using a new drive, and
install BM, it asks if you want to put BM at the beginning or end of FREE
Space. If the entire drive is empty it is the first or last cylinder. But I
did mine long after OS/2 was installed. I re-arranged the partitions so that
the Win98 partition was the first partition. I then told OS/2 Fdisk to install
BM at the end of the free space. Then installed 98..

RW> How did you manage this, I didnt think it was possible??

See Above..

Have a good day!!

Mike,

Isnt at the -end- of -free space- the last cylinder??
This is how I read it.
Obviously I read it wrong..

No, go back and look at it again. I moved the original OS/2 C: partition down
from the beginning of the drive. That left 116 Cylinders free at the beginning
of the drive. I told PM to install Boot Manager at the end of free space which
would be cylinder 116. Win98 then got the first 115 cylinders on the drive and
installed happily.

Have a good day!!
