Hi..

hmm.. are you running a spark in there? (what other reason can there be for
running solaris? Hmm.. IMHO , Linux, is a great middle-size server,
and with newer versions, even XFree is good (fast and stable ie)
But ofcourse.. today.. there are no soundprograms at all for linux,
which is a big shame, since i do alot of music. f you want to run
CoolEdit,CakeWalk, fusionVocode and many others. So i have to be a "traitor" ,
running
dual os'es on my box. And i dont like windows since it's buggy.. and yes. it
still is. Sever times a week, either systray or explorer does a gpf.
Hmm.. how well written is that?
But.. as long as i can't code some soundprograms, well i'm stuck with running
both.
gee.. i've a feeling that i just trailed like 1000 miles off subject.. :)

Hmm.. this is actually the smartest thing i've heard in a while..
cause i all think that we could agree to that all os'es (except macos)
has something good about it.. even though you have to look hard with ms
products sometimes.

Kind regards / Mark

Sparc? But of course.

Odd. There seem to be quite a few programs for Linux dealing with sounds
though not the selection that Windows has.

Oddly enough, I have some fondness for MacOS. In many ways, a nice example of
a GUI and definitely seems stabler than most MS products.
