GETTING STARTED

To run ERIC, all you need to do
is unzip the contents of ericos2.zip
or ericwin.zip ( depending on your
operating system ), and double click
on eric.exe. Please email me at
ben@bacchus.com.au and/or visit
www.bacchus.com.au/~ben/eric.html
if you have any problems or comments.

NOTE FOR THE MEMORY STRAPPED USER

ERIC was written in IBM smalltalk, and once
loaded uses 6mb of swap file. To reduce this
to 4mb of swap file just start eric with the
following command line parameter :-
eric.exe -mcd
P.S. As ERIC will happily run in your swap
file as opposed to your actual memory - I did
not make this option default.
