Bastisoft Tetris for OS/2 (v1.01e) (English)

I. The Game

It should be commonly known how Tetris is played. Just for the unlikely case you
don't know Tetris I'll give a short description:

Blocks are falling into some kind of well and pile up on the ground. The player has
to rotate and direct the blocks so that they fill the gaps. Every time a row is
complete, this row is deleted and all blocks above fall down one row. Your score
increases with every block that you were able to position somehow and with every
row that is deleted. As time goes by, the speed with which the blocks fall down
(also called the "level") increases.

The game is controlled with the arrow keys (or with the numpad).

Left arrow : The block moves left
Right arrow : The block moves right
Up arrow : The block rotates 90 anti-clockwise
Down arrow : The block falls immediately down

You can define the starting level with the two arrwo buttons on the right.
A running game can be paused by clicking on the "Pause" button and resumed
by clicking on this button a second time.

II. Freeware Notes

OS/2 is a great operating system which deserves easily accessible software.
This is why most of Bastisoft's software - and also Tetris - is freeware.
It may be freely used and distributed. No changes must be made to the files
and the program file must always be distributed together with this documentation.

However, I'd be very happy if you sent me some Email; this way I'd find out if
someone uses my software at all. My adress is:

Basti@compuserve.com

Uses this adress also if you have suggestions, wishes, criticisms etc...

III. Legal Notes

The author (Sebastian Koppehel) will not be liable for any damages that may, directly
or indirectly, result from the use of this program, even if he is informed about the
possibility of such damages. You use this software completely at your own risk.
