               --------------------------------------
                         README FILE for
               DWIDP DEMO Version 1.5a Sept. 10, 1996
               --------------------------------------

This new demo version of Dr. Walford's Interactive Diet Planner is
downloadable as a self-extracting file created with PKZIP version 2.04
   File name is "dwdemo2.exe".

After you have clicked on "dwdemo2.exe", you will see three files :
    "dwdemo2.exe" (the original downloaded file)
    "dwdemo.exe" (pkzip-ped DWIDP package)
    "extract.bat" (command file for un-pkzipping dwdemo.exe)
    "readme.txt" - this file.

To unzip DWIDP after downloading "dwdemo2.exe" :
   --------------------------------------------------------------------

        WINDOWS 3.1.1 :
            - from FILE MANAGER, double-click on file name "extract.bat"
            - OR, from DOS prompt window, type "extract.bat"

        WINDOWS 95 :
            - from a directory window,
double-click on file "extract.bat" (icon or name)
            - OR, from DOS prompt window, type "extract.bat"

    - THAT'S ALL for the installation of DWIDP demo -

(HINT : after clicking on extract.bat, FILE MANAGER may not immediately
update to reflect new files in directories; open & close directory
   to get correct file listing.)

NOTE on DIRECTORIES : if "dwdemo2.exe" was originally in your root
   directory - e.g., "c:\", it will create a new (sub)directory "c:\DWIDP"
containing the DWIDP executable, with other sub-directories containing
DWIDP files. If you want your version of DWIDP demo
to be placed under another directory, move "dwdemo.exe" and "extract.bat"
to that directory before clicking on "extract.bat".

NOTE : you may wish to back-up "dwdemo2.exe" to disk. However, after
you have completed the above steps, you can delete files :
    "dwdemo2.exe"
    "dwdemo.exe"
    "extract.bat"
   - since they are not necessary for running the DWIDP demo program.
