 V1.7 (FM32) and V1.5 (FM16) IMPROVEMENTS:

  1. New Feature for "FM32" and "FM16":

Now you can quickly "seek" (search) the FAT for bad clusters that were
"marked" by "SCANDISK" during a surface scan. Note: The next surface scan will
not show those "marked" bad clusters. FM16/32 can be a useful tool in
checking the hard disk in used computers.

  2. "FAT32.DAT" Demo File Replaced:

The previous "FAT32.DAT" (demo) file was flawed which causes FM32 to "act
flacky". FM16/32 doesn't have "protection" against flawed files.
--------------------------------------
  V1.6 IMPROVEMENTS:

  1. New Feature for Unregistered Version of "FM32.EXE":

I added the feature that allows you to save a "map" to a file in the
unregistered version of "FM32.EXE" because I realized that this will be
more useful to users.

  2. "FM32.EXE" Bug Fixed:

Sometimes the last lines of the FAT are missing in the display. This has
been corrected.

--------------------------------------
  V1.5 IMPROVEMENTS:

  1. "FM32.EXE" minor bug fixed that could cause, on rare occasions, a false
positive in locating the first cluster number of a specified file. NOTE: In
the unregistered version of FM32 (and FM16), this feature is available.

  2. A notice was added to "FM32.EXE" to alert users who want to know the
first cluster number of a specified file, to use Dos mode, not Dos "prompt".
NOTE: Dos "prompt" (WIN 95/98) is fine for viewing the FAT "map".
-------------------------------------
  V1.4 IMPROVEMENTS:

  1. "FM32.EXE" ADDED:

"FM32.EXE" was added for FAT32 systems.

  2. "FM16.EXE" MINOR MODIFICATION:

"FM16.EXE" was modified so it will not allow the FAT viewer function on
FAT32 systems, which would cause an error. Note: You can use FM16 on a FAT32
system to view a fat (16) file that was saved via "Sector Access".

-----------------------------------------
  V1.3 IMPROVEMENTS:

 1. Two bugs were discovered while developing the "registered" version of FM.

One was a navigational control bug while viewing the "map". This bug takes
effect if you moved to the end of the "map", then you press the "Home" key to
go to the beginning. Afterwards, when you try to move down, nothing happens.
Also, this same bug had another effect, if you moved down (Page Down or Down)
to the end of the "map", then you moved upward, and you used the "End"
command, nothing happens. The fix was simple.

The other bug involves the filename display when viewing a FAT file (saved
via "Sector Access") and if that file is located in the same directory with
FM (requires no path to be used). Instead of displaying the name of the FAT
file you are viewing, two quotes ("") are displayed. Note: If you used a path
to the file, there was no problem, which was the way I always used and tested
it. That too was a simple fix.

 2. Enhancements:

Blinking "B" for bad cluster/s, display of your location, and a display of
the specified file's first cluster number.
