Rapier 24 Pass-through Patch 58 v1.0
                                October 1993

This patch overcomes a problem with some
ET4000-based SVGA cards. The Windows screen
freezes when a full-screen DOS window is
started in Windows enhanced mode. The DOS
screen is displayed OK from the VGA monitor
output but the pass-through does not work.
When the DOS application finishes, control is
returned to Windows and the display is OK.

The same problem is seen with the Radius
MultiView 24 and Rapier 8-24.

If a windowed DOS-screen is used, there is
no problem. If Windows is run in Standard mode,
(win /s) there is no problem.

The patch is 2 files; RAPIER.3GR and VDDRAP.386.
These must be copied to the \WINDOWS\SYSTEM
sub-directory, replacing the 2 existing files.

This patch has 2 problems:
i) Rapier 24 installed to High (above 1MByte)
memory does NOT work. Windows gives a message
"TIGACD is not loaded or the wrong version."
Install to Low memory instead.

ii) The patch is a Windows 3.0 virtual device
driver and screen grabber. This means that
DOS applications in a window CANNOT use a mouse
or change the font size.
