VideoLogic Patch release 105
----------------------------

DCI profiling, especially with Encarta 96 (Windows 3.x)
-------------------------------------------------------

The problem:

With the GrafixStar 500 and the GrafixStar 700 in Windows 3.x (Graphics Driver
Versions 1.2.2 and before) there is a problem with DCI. DCI Profiling is supposed
to occur the first time a clip is played in any given graphics mode. However, when
viewing Indeo 3.2 and Cinepak AVIs of a non-regular size through the DCI,
Graphics Profiling occurs each time the clip is to be played.

This occurrence causes problems with certain applications. Most notably, Encarta 96
hangs when a DCI profile occurs, when it is running under Windows 3.x in a 65k
colors display mode.

How to install:

The old version of the driver file VLX68DCI.DRV that you are currently using will
reside within the VLPROD directory or whatever you named your VideoLogic directory.
Simply, within DOS, copy over the file with the update eg.

	 copy a:\VLX68DCI.DRV c:\VLPROD\VLX68DCI.DRV
