Refresh Rate Control and Audio for 928Movie under Windows 95
============================================================

This patch includes two simple utilities which allow:

- The specification of a desired refresh rate for 928Movie under Windows 95
- The use of 928Movie audio under Windows 95

REFRESH.EXE
-----------
This utility allows the setting of a refresh rate for each possible 928Movie resolution
under Windows 95 when running the Microsoft 32-bit driver - "Video Logic 928Movie (S3)".

To install, copy REFRESH.EXE to your root directory, and run it for instructions.
It runs best if a mouse driver is installed, allowing you to set a refresh rate for
a number of different refresh rates.

ENAUDIO.EXE
-----------
Normally, the 928Movie audio circuitry is not accessible when running the Microsoft
32-bit Windows 95 driver, because it is "blocked" by the 968 chip. ENAUDIO.EXE is an
application which removes the block, and allows the Windows 95 hardware detection to
"see" the audio hardware, and thus install the necessary standard Windows 95 drivers.

Ensure that the "Video Logic 928Movie (S3)" driver is installed within Windows 95.
Now restart the PC in command line mode.
Copy the file ENAUDIO.EXE to path <path> on the hard drive, and add the line:

	<path>ENAUDIO <BaseAddress>

to your AUTOEXEC.BAT, where <BaseAddress> is one of the valid 928Movie audio base
addresses (i.e. 530, 604 or E80).

For example:

	C:\DOS\ENAUDIO 530

Now edit your SYSTEM.INI file, and find the line

928Movie=1

Remove this line, save and exit.

Now restart your PC, and select "Add New Hardware" from the Control Panel.
A scan should detect the audio hardware, and install the necessary drivers
(from the Windows 95 CD-ROM or floppies).

Note that if the "928Movie=1" line is not removed from SYSTEM.INI, there will
be a blank display in 65 thousand and 16.7 million colour modes. This will also occur
if the 928Movie driver is reinstalled (as the line is added again at that point). If
you see this problem, please start your computer in fail-safe mode (or command line
only mode), edit SYSTEM.INI and remove the line again.
