5.) Microsoft's VIDCAP32 video capture program

During installation Microsoft's VIDCAP32 will be copied to your
system32 directory (eg. c:\winnt35\system32). You have to add an
icon reference manually to a program mananger's group or a shortcut
on the desktop (for Windows NT 4.0). There is no support by miro
  for this program.

6.) Video presets for Adobe Premiere 4.2

In the diskette's subdirectories "ENGLISH" / "FRANCAIS" / "DEUTSCH"
you find presets for Adobe Premiere 4.2 corresponding to the selected
language. For an english version of Premiere you have to copy these
files manually to the "PLUGINS" subdirectory of your Premiere
installation. For french take "MODULES" and for german "ZSMODULE".

7.) How to work with the driver software

You can work with the driver software as described for Windows 95.

If an application hangs, you have to kill it with the "task manager".

Then close all other video applications and run the "Drivers" tool
from the "control panel". From the "List of Drivers" window select
the "miroVIDEO DC20 Capture Driver" and click the "Setup" button.
Confirm the "miroVIDEO DC20 Capture Setup" with the "OK" button. This
  forces a driver reloading.

It's possible to work with the driver as an user with normal user
privileges. Administrator rights are only necessary to install the
  driver.

All source- and format-dialog settings and settings of the "control
program" are saved permanently and separately for each user. If you
got problems with these settings you can return to default confi-
guration by removing these settings from registry. Start the
  registry-editor REGEDT32.EXE of the \WINNT\SYSTEM32 directory. Look
  for the key
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER on Local Machine
       \Software
          \miro
             \dc20

Mark the "Data" value and delete it. Take care not to change or
delete any other value or key - your system could be corrupted doing
  this.

8.) Known Implementation restrictions

This software runs only on Intel compatible processors. Versions
for Risc-CPUs are not yet available.

Up to now it is only tested with "Windows NT Workstation Version
  3.51" (build 1057) and "Version 4.0" (build 1381).

Some more tests with various multiprocessor boards have to be done.

Please use only the version of "miroVIDEO Expert" distributed with
this disk. Other versions may produce misleading results.

Internal errors are not reported. This has to be added. Actually
there is no way to find out what might be wrong.

For data format 16 bit RGB / 32 bit RGB the interpolation filter
  has to be added.

National language support has to be added.

Up to now we have only tested Microsoft's "Vidcap32" and "MediaPlayer",
Adobe Premiere 4.2 and Ulead Mediastudio 2.5. Tests with other
  programs have to be done.

Microsoft recommends not to use any 16 bit video program together
with 32 bit driver software because of small incompatibilities
between 16 bit and 32 bit versions of the "Video for Windows"
interface. So it is on your own risc.

During streaming operations you should avoid to run too much back-
ground processes. You should avoid that paging to disk occures. If
this happens close any unused applications and services or add more
main memory to your computer. We recommand 32 .. 64 Megabyte.

Video overlay is not supported. You will only see a window filled
with your desktop background color. For the miroVIDEO DC20 it is
not planned to support this feature because there are no display
boards for Windows NT which will work in cooperation with the
  miroVIDEO DC20.
