To install svpmi files for BALI 64 and WD9710 boards follow this routine:

 - become root
 - cd to /
 - untar the file from this floppy named phillips.tar
 - configure the driver with the aid of `devconfig' utility (*)

(*) Original SunSoft configuration scripts do not allow resolutions
other than default 1024x768 for video boards serviced by vga8
driver. Also we were unable to locate any references in SunSoft
manuals to handle this issue, so we had to change a configuration
    dialog prototype file named `/usr/lib/devconfig/vga8.cfinfo'.
You will find the modified version of this file by the name
`/usr/lib/devconfig/vga8.cfinfo.new'. You may use it on the
"at your own risk" basis by copying it under the name
    /usr/lib/devconfig/vga8.cfinfo
