    - This mode of operation requires two disk drives and is intended to be
      used with a DUAL FLOPPY system; the PAL converter diskette must be in
      drive-A.

        * A Formatted floppy must reside in drive-B for reading and writing
          of the 4 PAL conversion datafiles:

                   * PAL input (.PAL) files;  PLD output (.JED, .STD) files;
                     and  PAL/PLD documentation (.PRT) files.

        * If using the "PAL PATTERN -->PLD PATTERN" selection of the PTP menu,
          make sure the desired PAL input (.PAL) file is on the drive-B disk
          before proceeding. (The .PAL file can be in JEDEC or fuseplot format)

        * Quit and restart from the MAIN MENU if you did not specify a
          <Filename> for the conversion datafiles.

    - If a hard-disk is desired as the datafile drive, then quit this
      selection and install the PAL converter on a hard-disk system with
      option-6 of the MAIN MENU; This will run the converter and save datafiles
      on the hard-disk, assuming the drive has sufficient free space.
