                  DIGITRAKKER 2.1 NEW FEATURES!
;

The following is a list of the features which are new in the version 2.1:

+ XM-Export: Digitrakker saves MoDuLes as XM-sounds, too!

+ IFF-Support: Samples can be loaded and saved in the IFF-format.

+ complete new discmenu (greater directory-window, full song-/samplenames
will be displayed, different directory-sort-criterions [filenames, length,
  date] and much more...)

+ new "test sample"-function: plays samples from disc without loading them

+ the sampleeditor has been extended:

  + sample-zooming
  + sample-finetuning (in 1/128 halfnote-steps)
  + volume fadein/fadeout

+ new clear-menu (as an example you can remove all unused samples!)

+ effect-parameter modify-function in the pattern-editor (ALT+W)

+ autosave-option for the program-configuration

+ new effect-command: mainvolume-slide

+ some small modifications...

+ the panning-slide commands: the panposition is beeing increased now after
every tick (=frame) [not after every noteposition]
  + better gus-autodetection (searches for ULTRASND-variable first)
+ modified song-dump (now prints composer- and pattern-names, too)
+ modified online-help (now with separate chapters)

+ bugs fixed...

+ a little bug (no panic! no information are lost!) in the save-routine has
been removed: now MDLs are even a bit shorter than before!!
+ when saving 16-bit samples to disc (alone or in a module) they will not
be packed any more with the 8-bit algorithm (which blows them up)
+ no overflow when trying to select more than 256 different patterns
+ loads xm-sounds now with the correct notes
  + doesn't display the program-information when switching between panning-/
    channelname-display in the mainmenu
+ more bugs (can't remember to them all...)
