SUMMARY: WinTHX is a player for THX-songs created with THX Sound System 1.x/2.x
on Amiga. It has the same look & feel like "Midas '95" released in 1997
         by Abyss.

FEATURES: > 100% accurate playback of all THX 1.x/2.x tunes
          > quality approved by Pink & Dexter, the THX creators
          > 100% C++ code, thus easily portable
          > very low CPU usage (<4% on P200)
          > Player available for use in own productions
          > Small & intuitive user interface
          > Coded by Bartman/Abyss
          > It's free! It's small! (exe-file only ~110kb, no .dll files needed)
          > The best THX tunes available are included with this release!

REQUIREMENTS: > win95/win98/nt 4.0
              > windows-compatible soundcard

INSTALLATION: > unzip the .ZIP file into the desired directory
              > drag a link onto the desktop or into the start-menu
              > files required in directory: WinTHX.exe

HINTS: > if you're looking for the menus, open the system menu (where
the window minimize/maximum is in) there are menus for
         'Options...' and 'About...'
       > The 'i' button opens the module info window, whose position
and size is also saved (like the main window).

FUTURE IMPROVEMENTS: > scope
                     > "pinkapolation" (more sophisticated oversampling)

PORTS: We're searching for skilled coders that like to port the THX Player

       (PDAs not excluded)

Note that we won't accept porting the player to Delphi

We're also interested in coders writing plug-ins for various players
       esp. DirectShow and WinAmp

If you're interested, please write to Bartman at barto@gmx.net
and include some references of your skill...
