DS> This is an interview for the TriBBS Magazine. This interview is abo
DS> your TriBBS utilities.

DS> How long have you been running TriBBS?

I went online offically 06/29/92. I first started this BBS in Tampa, Fl
which I was first TriBBS board to become registered (# 152). Because
TriBBS was new this this area, many people quickly became interested in
TriBBS and started setting it their own BBS. It wasn't too long
afterwards I sorta was pushed into becoming a TriBBS support board for
those who wanted realible TriBBS, DV & QEMM & General Modem support.
After about one year, Mark Goodwin told me that Florida had become his
number one state for registrations thanks to my support. I have always
<S>top, <N>onstop, <ENTER> for more? belived
in TriBBS will continue giving this support. I move to Alabama
in July of 1993 to be closer to my family, and get a new area started
on the TriBBS trend!

DS> Why did you program TriSort?

I have always like databases to be sorta in a neat and orderly fashsion
I guess, that is the biggest reason why I made TriSort. TriSort is now
at v3.1 which will allow a sysop to sort Users, File areas & Message
Conferences. To me, a nice sorta area of data is always easier for not
only sysops, but users as well wanting to go through and find
something.

DS> Why did you program BBS Statistic?

Well, without mentioning any other names of software or authors, I had
used some kinda like my program and waited a long time for updates for
better screens and hopefully a database so a sysop can trim or delete
their callers whenever they choose. It never came about so I set out to
develop and write such a program. I sincerly hope that my programs will
give other authors the inspiration to start writting more professional
and more involed programs like my newer ones so it will give TriBBS
<S>top, <N>onstop, <ENTER> for more? that bo
ost to make it great like the other BBS softwares that are
available today.

DS> How long have you been programming for TriBBS?

My first program for TriBBS was release 05/12/93 with Dirlist v1.0.
This is a Screen generator for making custom change File area screens.
Last version of Dirlist was v4.0, curretly working on a major upgrade
to v5.0 now...

DS> How many programs have you made for TriBBS?

Let's see, not a whole lot compare to many others. I have currently:

HotFiles v2.1 - A Hottest Files Downloaded Trakker
HotDoors v1.2 - A Hottest Doors Trakker
Bstats v1.2 - BBS Statistical Trakker
Dirlist v4.0 - Custom screen generator for "Change file areas"
MsgList v2.0 - Custom screen generator for "Change Mesage Conferences"
TriSort v3.1 - Sorts Most major internal TriBBS file Structures
!Users v1.0 - Takes users information and prints 4 to a page in a
                nice formated, margined for binder.
<S>top, <N>onstop, <ENTER> for more? Subrem
v2.1 - Subscription Reminder

DS> How many years of experience do you have for programming?

I have been into computers since 1987, I started taking a year in
Autocad. Didn't make too much money in that so I went on to take a two
year degree in Computer Science and programming. I finished in early 93
and started writting any thing that would work...<G> Most of my
experince came from after the move to Alabama where I had the time and
piece and quiet to think out logic and work on ideas. I don't get to
write as much for TriBBS, because I write databases for local area
Businesses now which keep me busy, plus I do other work, like build
computers, raise Mini Dachsunds, and finally do land developing during
the summer. So I stay pretty busy..
