            =>the demo is running VERY slow on highend 3dcards
              using a 16bit resolution mode..
              f.e. tnt2/geforce/2/3
              choose a 32bit mode.. demo uses a stencilbuffer
              which some cards only hardware-support using a
              32bit resolution mode..

            =>the demo is running VERY slow on oldskool 3dcards..
              f.e. voodoo1/2 and riva128 and rage128 and intel8x0
              can't help it.. sorry.. demo uses lots of 32bit
              animated textures, render2texture, dot3, stencilbuffer
              and also some gigamegasupertons of (alphablended)polys..

            =>the demo takes a hell lotta time to load..
              sorry people..
              this time the whole init-shit is 'bout 80-90% optimized..
              but the 3d-data has a lot of megs to "play" with
              during init and one half of the textures have to
              be calculated from scratch/synthesized(~200bytes data)..
              so (with enabled texture compression) it can take up to
              a minute to initialize/load/decompress/calculate/recompress
              all the stuff.. (which is TOTALLY lame, i know ;)

hints=====> =>fast 3dcard=>
---------->   1024x768/32..disable texture compression..

            =>slow 3dcard=>
              640x480/(32or16or24)..disable trilinear texture filter..

            =>all=>
              please keep "kewl" driver-features such as FSAA (antialiasing)
              or anisotropic_texture_filtering DISABLED..
              they "just" slow things down.. try a higher resolution
              instead.. this will make things look a lot better
              compared to those hardware-"lowres-fakes".. ;)
              
              optimization-features such as hyper-z/depthbuffer-encoders
              or texture_compression should make things faster
              without having too much visual losses.. so ENABLE them.. =)
