"Homer gets his ass whacked by a bunch of gladiator bots"

This is a short demo of GameCam v1.00 - the final release
of the plugin camera module for Quake 2.

You'll need the Homer Simpson plugin player model, and the great
map ztn2dm2.bsp (see links later), in order to play this demo.

To view it just extract the file lamebot.dm2 in c:\quake2\baseq2\demos
(replace c: with the correct drive letter) and run Quake 2 like this:

	quake2 +demomap lamebot.dm2

The demo starts with the action camera and then switches to a chase
camera view. The chase camera rotates about Homer to give the
best view of the Gladiators as they beat him around.

If you think it looks like CreepCam for Quake I, then you're right -
I've recently happened to watch demos made with CreepCam, and was struck
by the way the camera moves about. I liked it so much that I decided
to figure out the camera algorithm and code it. I don't know if it
works exactly like the original CreepCam, but it's pretty cool as is.

Enjoy the show!
