* How to use this model *

Unzip all files to your quake2\baseq2\players\Fiona_Playmate directory,
and select at player setup in multiplayer menu.

the directory *MUST* be "Fiona_Playmate", or the skin links will not work,
and other people with the model will not see yours, nor will you see theirs.

As always, make sure that you have no stray files in your quake2\baseq2\players
directory. There should be no files there, only subfolders. Stray files in this
directory are the most common cause of plugin player models not working or not
showing up at all.

Do whatever you want with it, just give me credit and don't sell it
(unless you want to give me my cut)

Author's notes :

Lots of people bugged me to do this type of thing, either because they wanted
a generic female model to make skins for (like a female counterpart so the
SuperMale PPM), or because they wanted a totally nude female model. After much
work, here she is, and I'm proud to say that she's my best overall effort for Q2
to date.

Primarily, this was an excercise for me in refining my animation skills, which
I feel has consistently been my weakness in 3d modelling. Her animations are much
smoother, more life like, and are designed to work well in the game. Since the wave
animation is used for throwing grenades, I've designed the animation specifically
for that. I've made an effort to pay attention to secondary motions with her, most
specifically with her hair and breasts.

Besides that, my previous models have pushed the limits of acceptability in their
polycounts, so I've also made this an effort to work with a lower poly model. I
feel I did quite well, but I do wish I would have used a few more polys in her butt,
which turned out a bit too angular in some of the animations. Live and learn :)

During production, I've made available the necessary files for submitting skins for
the final release. Although I received correspondence from several interested parties,
only a few ever submitted any skins, and a few of those were not at a level of quality
that I would be confortable distributing with my work, and were not included.

I plan to release additional packs of skins for her in the future, if there is
sufficient interest. Submissions from the public are always welcome.

Oh yeah, and for those that don't know... I've been working as a freelance
contractor doing art for 3d games for the last year, and I'm always
looking out for new employment opportunities. So if you're interested...
