I. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Windows(r) 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT 4.0
Pentium 133+, 24 MB RAM
SVGA, high color (16-bit)
2x CD-ROM drive
Windows-compatible sound card
Mouse, keyboard

II. HOW TO INSTALL THE HALF-LIFE: UPLINK MOD
To install, create a directory called "uplink" (w/o the quotes) in your Half-Life directory.
Then, extract uplink.zip into that directory, and then, run install.bat. And off you go!

III. HOW TO RUN THE HALF-LIFE: UPLINK MOD
To run the Half-Life: Uplink mod either run the "uplink.bat" file located in your
half-life\uplink directory (e.g. C:\Sierra\Half-Life\uplink\uplink.bat) or run Half-Life
with the command-line options "-game uplink" without the quotes.
After you've done this once you can choose Half-Life: Uplink from the Custom games menu in
Half-Life (version 1.0.0.9 or higher)

IV. WHAT IS THE HALF-LIFE: UPLINK MOD?
The Half-Life: Uplink mod is the Half-Life: Uplink demo put together to mod format, both
for ease of use and to use less space, but still maintain a professional feel to it.
In other words, if you have Half-Life, why download the demo when you can download this mod
ten times faster. The demo was about 49 megabytes in zipped format, while this mod is only
11 megabytes in size (unzipped), and only 5 when zipped.

V. CREDITS
Please note that this mod was put together by Sampo Sauri, not Valve. Valve, on the other
hand, has created all the artwork and levels of this mod, because the levels and artwork
is the same as in the demo. The levels were taken from Morpheus' "Uplink Lite" which allowed
the Uplink demo to be played in Half-Life.

So, thanks go to:
Valve Software, for creating the Half-Life: Uplink demo ( www.valvesoftware.com )
Morpheus (LrdVaderX@aol.com), for providing the Uplink levels
         ( www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Labyrinth/7387/ )

I merely put the levels in a format so it could be run like a mod.

I hope I'm not violating any laws of any sort by releasing this mod, because I mean no harm
to anyone or anything.
