Description :This is my third level for Half-Life. My first two levels were
Sepulcher and Aggregate Pain. The title "Recon" is short for
"Reconnaissance." This is my best level yet. It's weighs in at a
hefty 10 megs unzipped, and takes about an hour to beat without
cheating. I added a lot more variety as far as how the enemies
attack you. They're not all just standing in front of you as in my
previous levels. I would definitely recommend getting the lastest
version of Half-Life before you play this. If you play this on an
early version of Half-Life, it will be way too dark. Believe me,
I've seen it. The level looks best on a TNT. For those of you who
are going to review this level on your website, please e-mail me
and let me know when the review will be up so I can check it out.
And for all those who download it, please e-mail me and let me know
			 what you thought of it.

valve\maps\graphs directory. Start the game with console
and type "map recon1" without the quotes.
*Construction*

Base :New level from scratch.
Editor used :Worldcraft 2.1.
Build time :Three months.
Known bugs :A few minor things. I had a little trouble with the zombie
scripted sequence. There were also a few parts in the level that
would cause the whole damn game to crash. So I had to put up

			 wandering into those areas.

*Story*

This level picks up after Aggregate Pain. If you played that level, you know that you
escaped in a jet. Anyways, as you are flying back to your base, you receive knew orders to
head back to an adjacent part of the base. You are to find a satellite that the enemy has
constructed and destroy it. As you'll soon find out, your flying skills are a little rusty.
You end up crashing the jet and your bio-hazard suit is fried to a crisp. Don't worry
though, you'll find a new one soon.

*Hints*

For those of you who find yourself hitting the reload button too often, here's some hints:

1) In the beginning of the level, go to the lab type building to your left to get your suit.
2) Use Barney as much as you can.
3) Explore all areas of the map. If you don't, you'll miss much of the health and ammo.
4) After you go up the elevator, find your way into the observation room. If you can't
figure out how to get in there, then I don't know you ever beat Half-Life.
5) At the big outside area with the bridge, go underwater and to your left. Climb the
ladder and toss a grenade up at the sentry. Get the cross bow and shoot the other one.
6) In the room where the little tram ends, use the crates in the room on the left to get up
to the grate that you can smash and gain access to the other room. It has a bunch of
ammo in it including plus rocket launcher.
7) Use the alien weapon against the big blue guy at the end; it works the best.
8) Get the extra ammo for the alien weapon on top the rock in the lake. You'll need it.
