Because 3Dfx has yet to release their own full OpenGL drivers,
this test demo utilizes the Mesa 3Dfx OpenGL drivers. This is
the reason for no portal support in this release, and the reason
for some odd transparency effects.

Furthermore, there is not currently Voodoo2 support for Mesa. Therefore,
that chipset is unsupported by mad3d at this time.

About the contributers:

*Anthony Cowley is a full time engineering student at the University of
Pennsylvania. He programmed mad3d in his spare time over the past 6 months.
In that time he also created unreleased Quake1 modifications for the Terra219
Quake1 TC include advanced model effects and radiosity based colored lighting
in software rendering. After his Quake1 work, he released 2 3Dfx WinAmp
plugins which can be found on his web page. All inquiries about mad3d
should be directed to him.
