Description of the Modification
-------------------------------

As an homage to many other video games, especially Star Fox, which for
some reason now gives me fond memories, I present 'Roids (Make your
Preperation H jokes now...) This really is a whole game in itself. You
pilot a small spacecraft (powered by what looks like a diesel engine,
but that's another story). You must manuever this ship through an
asteroid field. The mod was written in one night, and I added the
finishing touches the next day. I think it's pretty fun.

Roids is a single player mod, and always will be. No ammount of begging
for a multiplayer mode will work, the code simply isn't written for it.

Anywho, I just wanted to mention that this is the second released mini
mod in the Frika C mini-mod trinity. If you didn't play the first, Jaws,
I suggest you go get it. http://www.mdqnet.net/

NOTE: If you have low RAM, or are annoyed by the music, you can
rename/delete pak1.pak and the game will play without music.

How to Install the Modification
-------------------------------

Make a subdir of your quake directory entitled "roids" and place all
files in this archive, using your favorite unzip utility, in that folder.
Start quake with the parameter "-game roids +map roids".

Any suggestions, please mail me at frika-c@earthling.net
