                  Dar'tanion's Crosshair Collection
                            for Quake II

  Here's my collection of playtested crosshairs for Quake II that have
served me well.  If you like 'em, use 'em.

  These crosshairs were designed to be highly visible under all
conditions without obscuring the user's vision and are "zeroed in"
at average and long ranges, correcting the undershooting and misalignment tendencies of Quake II at some screen resolutions.  Now those rockets fly exactly where you want them to.

The degree of accuracy may vary depending on your display and screen resolution.

  Installation:

    Extract all files into a temporary folder.  

    Choose which set you'd like to try.  

    Rename your choice to pak9.pak and copy this file into your 
    \quakeII\baseq2 folder.  If you already have a pak9.pak there, I
    suggest that you rename it to an unused pak number, ie. pak8.pak.  

    Now start some serious fragging!

    The raw pcx files are included in case you would like to insert
    these into your own pak files or would like to modify these 
    crosshairs.  There are many pak utilities, such as PakExplorer, 
    available for a free download to assist in these efforts.
