Overview:

  Gauntlet removes the guns from regular Quake2 and 
leaves you only with your bare fists (and feet) as weapons.  

  
Features:

- Real combo system that buffers keystrokes
- Keystrokes are interprepted into fighting moves  (no excessive binding)
- Trips, knock downs, & dizzies
- New models & weapons
- Basic Teamplay
- 3rd person perspective
- Multiple camera views


Installation:

  Unzip the Gauntlet client/server pack with subdirectories into your quake2/gauntlet directory.

New key bindings:

  -  +defend    - block
  -  attack 1   - punch
  -  attack 2   - kick


**-  cam combat    - automatically switches to a side view when your fighting
  -  cam combat2   - same as cam combat but locks your rotation
  -  cam chase     - chase camera                    
  -  cam cameras   - pre-positioned static cameras
  -  cam static    - camera doesnt rotate or move
  -  cam high      - birds eye view

  -  break         - breaks out of combat mode
  -  drop          - drops your current weapon, if any
  -  pickup        - picks up a weapon

**:  Camera defaults to this when each round begins.
