Hero Scenarios

Here are three hero-oriented scearios. Two of which use HERO GATES.

1. HeroesAtWar :
This is a simple battle between rival hero clans.
You start with a large fighting force, but no portals.
So watch your attrition. The size of the army also could
create logistical problems if you are not careful.

		Recommended Human players 2
		Total Players 2

2. Hero Apocalypse :
Basic premise is two opponents who can never touch each other,
but every slap they make causes a hero invasion on both
sides. Of course the Heroes get stronger with each slap/invasion.
You have to fend off your attackers, while trying to have the other
Heroes overrun the enemy. This is a great head to head match.
Think of it as mutually assured distruction(MAD) with Heroes.
There are no real winners, only survivors. And a mistaken slap
		could cause your doom.

This scenario is not reccommended for wimpy machines. A 233mHz box
with 64Mb ram bogged down in the heat of battle during play testing.

Also beware that too many invasions triggered at once could cause
a crash/exit of the game. This may be due to DK's memory allocation,
which can probably be manually set. It seems that if 12 invasions
(on each side) are occuring at the same time, this exit occurs.
The number of heroes on the board at that time is approximately
		12 x 2 X 10 = 240 heroes. So things may also be breaking because
there would be more than 256 creatures on the board.

		Recommended Human players 2
		Total Players 2

3. Hero ApocalypseSP :
Single player version of the Hero Apocalypes scenario. Invasions
are triggered by the clock, not by the slap. If you
think its tough and you have not even seen the stone giants,
then you'd better quit. You are virtually guaranteed to lose this one.
But that's what an Apocalypse is all about.

		Recommended Human players 1
Total Players 2 (set the blue guy to idiot)
		Difficulty: EXTREME

The Apocalypse scenarios were made in order to test the trigger capabilities
put into the dk2mapper map compiler. A new version of dk2mapper with this
capability should get released the week of Aug 23rd, 1999

Install in your DungeonKeeper\Data\editor\maps directory.
