DK2MakeMap
Front End for Mark Kinkead's DK2randommap.exe and DK2mapper.exe
for Dungeon Keeper 2 (Windows 95/98).

No more DOS prompt! No more typing repetetive commands! Create random maps for Dungeon Keeper 2 with just a few mouse clicks!

Installation:
Copy DK2makemap.exe into the same directory as DK2randommap.exe and DK2mapper.exe (it suggested that this be your Dungeon Keeper2\Data\editor\maps directory). Then simply run DK2makemap from Windows (you may wish to create a shortcut by right-clicking & dragging on DK2makemap.exe from Windows Explorer to your desktop).

Using DK2makemap:
Just change any parameters you wish, click on CREATE, and then COMPILE. You may also look at and edit the .map file created by DK2randommap by clicking on EDIT, or skip that and be surprised! Exit and fire up DK2 to play!

Version 1.1 changes/additions:
* requires latest versions of DK2randommap.exe and DK2mapper.exe.
* calculates total tiles in map automatically.
* user can click "calc" buttons to input default values for Keeper Distance and Portal Distance.
* warns if dk2randommap fails to create a map, plays a new sound.
* uses dk2makemap.ini to store last map's parameters.
