Author's notes:
Be SURE to read "story.txt" for a little background on each of the creatures found here.
Although this model has been gathering dust on my hard drive for almost a year, I had fun with this one. I got to grapple with shaders and wrestle with Level-of-Detail. Again l went with some slightly altered stock Q3A animations and bot scripts mainly because I simply wanted to get this model completed and was concentrating on the modelling and the skinning.
As far as modelling goes, I was aiming for a "lean" efficient model polygon-wise and making a strange, distintive character while still maintaining a humanoid shape. Custom animations would certainly have contributed to the uniqueness of this character, but like I said, at this point I just want to get him off my hard drive.
The sounds were created by Mark "Bar-B-Q" Klem of Silicon Ice Development, makers of the Q3 mod "Urban Terror".
Enjoy and please let me know what y'all think.
