'My First Boomer' Bot designed by Korevek.

Model description : ...Boomer was built by a reclusive engineer, who is now but a distant memory.
His creator was a cog in the brutal machine of a mega-mega-corporation
of the future. Without human contact of any kind for years, slavishly designed new
gadgets and androids in the gigantic subterranean workshop that was his prison,
the engineer created Boomer in a final act of desperation. Without the luxury of most high-tech
components, he fashioned a towering robot body with the scavenged components of obsolete mining
implements. Somewhat clunky, but astonishingly resilient, the robot's limbs could heft and crush
incredible amounts. But without any real materials with which to construct the positronic brain
with, the engineer had to resort to scavenging.
Consequently, Boomer's head was made from a damaged InfoBot--the cheery little automatons
that resemble a floating head, responsible for all sorts of menial roles in society.
The particular Infobot that would become Boomer's head had once been a guide at a theme
park; it's only purpose was to inform and entertain the audiences about the war recreation
they watched. After reciting the cursory disclaimers for the show, the InfoBot zoom onto the
field and exclaim "Battle!" much to the delight of the audience, and the show would begin.
After the theme park closed, the Infobot was discarded, destined for the massive underground
metal recyclers that the engineer often picked through. The engineer reprogrammed him as much
as possible giving him a rudimentary self-awareness not often associated with InfoBots.
However, certain subroutines and vocal phrases were hardcoded and could not be removed...

How the engineer orchestrated Boomer's escape is another story.
(check website later for more story :)
