Very great model.... GOOD WORK GUYS

2. Installation

Just unzip to where ever your quake2 directory is and it will take care of the rest.

example:

if your quake2 directory is located on your C:\ drive then extract it to C:\
*note- the zip file is already pointed to quake2\midevil

3. Configuration

At this time there is no keys to bind, except maybe a rocket jump type script for the oil-flasks
: )

4. Gameplay

*CTF

Same game play as regular Quake2 CTF, the only difference is you have a whole assortment of
Medieval Style weapons. Also to defend your castle you have Catapults that sling boulders
at the enemy.

*DM

Once again same type of game play, just with diffrent weapons. In the current version we
are not going to put any player controlled catapults, unless we make a really big map. So
as far as that goes we are undecided.

5. Server

From a command prompt, change to your Quake II directory.
To run a dedicated server with ctf gameplay type this:

   quake2 +set dedicated 1 +set game medievil +map q2medctf1

If you want to play on the machine that will host the server, use this:

   quake2 +set deathmatch 1 +set game medievil +map q2medctf1

When running a non-dedicated server, you must specify a map or a config
file (that contains a map specification at the end).

6. Map making

I plan to have a really in depth section of our homepage covering the basics of Medievil
Custom map spec.
