1. Introduction.
Welcome to ID_Bank, the secure storage utility for usernames, passwords, account information and any sort of ID information. ID_Bank holds your information securely in encrypted files that can be quickly accessed as required and then locked using a password to prevent unauthorized use.
This program is Shareware; you can use it for 30 days free of charge to evaluate it. If at the end of that period you want to continue using it, then your copy must be registered. Your single-user registration will license you to use your copy of ID_Bank. It entitles you to receive bug fixes and minor revisions, and provide you with free technical support via email. 2. Hardware and Software Requirements.
ID_Bank runs under Windows 98/ME/NT4/2000/XP with 2MB disk space. There are no special hardware requirements.
3. Installing ID_Bank.
If you have downloaded ID_Bank, as a ZIP file then you must use a decompression utility such as WinZip or PkUnzip to unpack the ZIP file into a suitable directory (such as C:\Program Files\ID_Bank). If you already have a version of ID_Bank installed and wish to update it, then it is not necessary to remove the old version first and you can install over the old version. If ID_Bank is running, you will be prompted by the installer to shut it down before the update is completed.

4. Removing ID_Bank.
Shut down ID_Bank before uninstalling. Go to "Add/Remove Programs" in the control panel and uninstall ID_Bank from there. Alternatively, go to ID_Bank in the Start Menu select "Uninstall ID_Bank".

5. What's New since version 1.02 (A full revision history can now be found in the text file: history.txt)
18 November 2002 - Version 1.05 released.
* Bugs Fixed
o Fixed file open bug, clicking "Cancel" when entering a password did not reset the records/folders view - causing a crash if anything was selected.
o Fixed System Tray Icon menu bug. The menu is now displayed topmost; it's no longer hidden behind other windows
* Other Changes
o Added Windows XP theme style compatibility when running on Windows XP.
03 September 2002 - Version 1.04 released.
* New Features
o Altered file open/save dialog to include selection buttons for "My Documents", "History", "Desktop", "Favourites" & "Web Folders"
o Made "cosmetic changes to the system tray menu.
o Changed Frame UI visualization to Office XP, or Windows XP if running on a Windows XP Installation. The Office 2000 visualization option in "Customize" is no longer available.
* Bugs Fixed
o Fixed Password Popup display bug which did not resize the dialog correctly if the screen resolution was reduced.
* Other Changes
o Updated core BCGControlBar Library to latest version.
o Updated Help File.
1 August 2002 - Version 1.03 released.
* New Features
o Added new setting to the Security Page of Options - "Show filename on tray icon tooltip". If selected the current filename will be displayed when the mouse is moved over the system tray icon.
o Made Open File Password Box and Save File Password Box display position persistent, if you move them about the screen the position will be saved for future use.
* Bugs Fixed
o Fixed File Save As Bug. The user is now always prompted for a password to encrypt the file.
o Fixed Print Dialog, Report Style resize bug.
o Fixed Record View new line characters display bug.
