-- III. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION --
Multi-Tag is an ID3 tag editing program that allows you to apply the same
tags to multiple files. This is useful when you want to add the same Artist,
Album, Year, Genre, URL, or Comments Tags to a group of files. Multi-Tag
version 2.0 supports ID3v1.1 and ID3v2.3. It also allows you to remove tags
(either ID3v1.1 or ID3v2.3) from a group of files. You can also copy tags
from ID3v1.1 to ID3v2.3 and vise-versa.

-- IV. INSTRUCTIONS --

*Opening Files*
To open files in Multi-Tag v2.0 you must first open the File List window. To
do this select the "File List..." option from the "File" menu. This will open
the file list window. To open file(s) click the "Open File(s)" button below the
file list. This will allow you to add file to the File List. To clear the list

on the "Remove Selected" button.

*Veiwing ID3 Tags*
To Veiw a file's ID3 tags select the file whose tags you wish to view fromt the file
window. When you select a file from the file list, its tags are automaticly dislplayed
in the main window.

*Editing ID3 Tags*
To edit ID3 tags you must first check the checkbox next to the tags you wish to modify.
Then, you will be able to type the text you wish to use for those tags into the edit box
that corresponds to the tag you want to edit. Next, YOu must decide whether you want to
apply the selected tags to all files, or just those selected in the file list window. To
do this you select either the "ALL Files" or "Selected Files" options from the "Apply
Operations To" portion of the main window. To actually apply the tags you must click
the "Apply Selected Tags" Button. Multi-Tag will display a warning for you to confirm your
action. If you wish to perform the action select "Yes".

*Removing and Copying ID3 Tags*
To Remove ID3v1.1 Tags, click the "Remove ID3v1.1" button. This operation will be applied
to all files if that radio button is checked, or only the selected files if that radio
button is selected. The same goes for removing ID3v2.3, except you push the "Remove ID3v2"
button. To Copy Tags you just click either "Copy ID3v1.1 -> ID3v2" or "CopyID3v2 -> ID3v1.1,"
these options will copy all the tags from one version to the other version. The changes will
be applied to Selected Files or All Files depending on which radio button you have selected.
If a file does not have any tags of the version you wish to copy from, nothing will happen to
that file.
