To install Speedy Paste onto your computer, run the setup.exe program that
was accompanied with this readme file. The setup program will guide you
through the installation process.

Description:

Are you tired to typing the same redundant information time and time again?
How would you like to be able to type the information once and then have it
easily available anywhere in Microsoft Windows with a couple clicks of the
mouse? Speedy Paste is a solution!

Usage:
When you start Speedy Paste, it automatically takes the form of a yellow icon
with the letters "SP" on it. This icon is placed in your system tray (the area
located by your Windows clock, usually the lower right corner of your screen.)
Clicking on the yellow icon in the tray will cause the Speedy Paste main menu
to be displayed.

The main menu is quite simple. There are several buttons that are originally
named "Button 1", "Button 2", etc. When you click a button, the text that is
associated with that particular button is copied to the Windows clipboard and
then the Speedy Paste window hides until it is recalled again by clicking the
yellow icon in the system tray.

You are now ready to "paste" the text that is defined for "Button 1". To paste
text into Windows, place your cursor at the location where you would like the
text to appear. Next, you need to do -ONE- of the following to paste the text:

* Hold the CTRL key down on your keyboard, and press the letter 'V' key (CTRL-V)

* Right click in the area that you would like to paste into and select paste from
  the menu (if one appears)

* Look for a "Paste" command under the menu options.
(It's usually under the Edit menu)

You should now see the text that was defined for "Button 1" on your screen.

To change the text that is available to "paste" when a button is clicked you
need to select the "Define Buttons" option. To access the setup menu, click
on the yellow icon in the system tray, and then select "Define Buttons" from
the Setup menu.

Speedy Paste is shareware. Until a license to use Speedy Paste is purchased,
eight speed paste buttons will be available for use. Once the $2 US Dollar
license fee has been paid to use Speedy Paste, you will receive a key to
unlock the program, enabling all 24 of the speed paste buttons.

Speedy Paste may be distributed provided the guidelines outlined in license.txt are followed.
