Because of the sensitive nature of the data to be entered in to the EstateMap software program, password security has been included to help prevent other persons from using the program and gaining access to information that is private and you do not want to be public knowledge.

When you enter the "Main Menu" screen, you will be greeted by window that requires you to enter a password. A temporary password (the word "welcome") has been pre-saved and it is necessary to enter "welcome" to access the program. It is suggested that you immediately CLICK the "Change Password" button and change this password to a password of your choosing.

NOTE: Passwords should be unique. Passwords can be composed of all numbers, all letters, or a combination of numbers and letters. Your password should be created so that any person who knows you would not suspect or easily guess your password and so be able to gain access to your sensitive data.

The "Change Password" window has three (3) fields for data entry; (1) Old Password, (2) New password, and (3) New Password re-entered for validation. Remember the new password you enter !!! That will be the password you will need to enter from that point forward until you change it again.
