Description: This Quake 1 single player level is made especially for
             Aardappel's level design competition. The map has 100
             brushes and uses non-standard textures.

Textures Used: DropIn.wad contains all textures used. They came from
               several sources. Most are from IKBlue.wad and HeXeNII.wad
               with a few from Zer.wad and one or both of the official
               Mission Packs. Appended at the end of this text file is
               the readme for IKBlue.

Difficulty Levels: Easy   - 30 Enemies
                            Perforator and Grenade Launcher
                   Normal - 32 Enemies
                            Perforator and Grenade Launcher
                   Hard   - 36 Enemies
                            Grenade Launcher (with a Perforator
                            at the very end)

                   Species vary between difficulty levels;
                   it's not just the enemy count that changes.

Comments: Health, ammo and armour are in good supply but not in wretched
          excess. There is one secret that is worth finding. If you think
          that hard is too hard, email me and I'll send you a demo of
          me finishing it with no secrets or saves.

Permissions:

Aardappel is free to use the bsp, map and wad files as he sees fit.
This level was made exclusively for his 100 Brush - Custom Tex Only
contest. If you have this level, it should have been downloaded as
part of Aardappel's map compilation. My test team are exempt from
these restrictions.

It goes without saying that no money should exchange hands for this
work.

Description             : This is the texture wad that has been used
                          in my levels IKSPQ2, IKSPQ3 and IKSPQ4. All the
                          textures in this wad are made by me - from
                          scratch. I have all rights to them, read
                          the legal information before you do anything
                          with these.

                          As the name says, these textures are blue.
                          Simply, you can't make anything but blue
                          levels using these, unless you combine this
                          to other wads (which would be thematically
                          unwise).

                          Many of the textures in this wad need to be
                          aligned perfectly with the X and Y offsets
                          to make them look good in your level. Scaling
                          them with factor -1 may be needed in some
                          cases. If you can't use these textures in a
                          proper way, please don't ask me to teach you.

Additional Credits to   : Who ever wrote Deluxe Paint on 80's. It's 
                          still the best paint program for 256-colour
                          modes.

This is a texture wad that can be used as a source for QBSP when
you create add-on levels for Quake. 

* Construction *

Base                    : from scratch
Editor(s) used          : Deluxe Paint (the oldest version, 1985 or so..)
                          Imap (my own program, may be released some day)
                          Image Alchemy shareware v1.9
                          Newwad
Known Bugs              : The mip-mapping routine of Newwad doesn't work
                          with fullbright colours. Thus, if you use a
                          light panel texture in a dark place it won't
                          look good. Make sure you have light level around
                          150-200 everywhere you use those lit textures.
Build Time              : Way too long.

* Legal Stuff *

These textures may be freely used and distributed, under the following
conditions:

- My name (Iikka Kernen) is credited. With single levels, the "Additional
  credits" section is where you put my name. With conversions and level
  paks, or projects involving several people, I would be a "co-author".

- No money is charged for distributing this texture wad or ANY PRODUCT USING
  THESE TEXTURES. I am the only person who has the right to get money for
  selling these textures. You use them for free, you distribute them free!

- These textures are not modified without my permission; Modified textures
  remain my property.

- This text file (ikblue.txt) is included in the product (.zip file or other)
  and is mentioned in the product's own text files. (Mainly for the
  commercial distributor info below)

- If you wish to use these textures, or levels containing these textures,
  in a commercial product such as level collection CD-ROM, total conversion,
  or basically anything that is sold for money, I require a profit-based
  payment, or some hundred dollars one-time payment per a level using my
  artwork. This is not to be paid by the level author, but the publisher.
  You MUST contact me and make an offer before trying to commercially dis-
  tribute a single pixel of my artwork!
