Description          : Single player/Deathmatch level for Quake.You start

                      in a cave in a forest.After making it through the

                      forest,you come upon a village protected by a large

                      walled gate.You must battle your way through the

                      village and get to the gate that goes to the third part

                      of the level,the fortress.Once you conquer that,you may

                      exit.Along the way,you will find monsters,weapons,ammo

                      medkits,lever switches,secrets,traps,and exploding

                      barrels.A good way to kill some of the monsters is to

                      lure them near a barrel,and then blow it up.Of course,

                      they may do the same thing to you...

Editor used             : Quest v1.081

Known Bugs              : There are some fish in this level,so the monster

                         count at the end won't be accurate.They should be:

                         easy:34,normal:68,hard:97.

Installation and play   : Put VILLAGE.bsp in Quake\id1\maps.I also included

                         a Pak0.pak which has a new wooden barrel in it that

                         replaces the tech-style one in Quake.This should be

                         put in a folder called 'barrel' in your main Quake

                         directory(not in \id1\maps).From a dos-prompt,start

                         Quake with:quake -game barrel

                         Then in the start room,go through a skill door and

                         type: village   at the console.

                         You can play village without the -game barrel,the

                         barrels just won't look right.The reason I didn't

                         also put the village.bsp into the pak file I made,

                         was so I could still play with -game rpbot.This

                         level is a lot of fun with reaperbots!
