Description/Info : Quake Deathmatch level. BUILT FOR LOW-LAG PERFORMANCE.

			  (Addendum to this updated version:
This is an update to satyr1. In my quest for the fastest levels
I have eliminated all flickering lighting effects. This is the
only change. It now has SURF counts mostly to zero, but always
			  definitely under 50.)

Prepare yourself for the finest in low-lag fraggin' fun!
			  This map is pure deathmatch.

I was looking around in the Quakelab web site and found
some information on how to make a map with the least amount
of lag. A few other sites outlined similar criteria so I
decided to strike out and create this map. A lot of time
was spent designing and playtesting this map to make sure
it met my high standards of speed, great playability and
			  immersive design.

This level has been extensively tested for speed using
r_speeds. There are NO spots that go above 450 (that
I could find) and it's usually WAY under 400.
Construction meticulously followed the suggestions outlined
in the Quakelab web site (and other pages) to reduce lag:
			  a) This map has no doors
			  b) This map has no moving platforms
			  c) This map has no grenade launchers
			  d) Each room/hallway has a low number of brushes
			  e) There are no huge expansive open outdoor areas (there is
a large-ish room but it contains "visual blockers").
			  f) 99.9% of the time r_speeds are less than 400
		  	  g) No flickering lights resulting in low SURF counts

This is a fairly large map, good for 6-12 players. I do not
recommend this map for less than 4 players (unless you like
			  to hunt).

If you are using this map, whether on a regular Quake server
or Quakeworld, I would very much appreciate feedback
and (constructive) criticism. If there is a demand for
maps built to these specs, I'd like to know.

My Other Maps : I'm working on "Satyrs Mortification" (working title)
Yes, it will probably take another five - six weeks.
