 DESCRIPTION             :
Once notorious for housing some of the deepest military secrets from weapons to data,
SF-1031 has long since been abandoned. Though some of it's arrays of electrical networks
and other technologies are corroding away, it has been cleaned out and modified to serve
as another deathmatch arena.

I originally had ideas to do a map situated in an area of a sewer network and had a
nice T-hub area going, but was completely clueless as to where to go from there. I deci-
ded to start over and begin with a method I hadn't used before: first, build a rough
overall layout of the map, then add detail. I usually never did this because it was
twice the work, and as mapping is just a little hobby I didn't care that much. But this
time around I wanted to focus on layout first and looks second. I've always felt I did
well with the eye candy and all that, but knew I needed help understanding good DM
layouts.

After a few beta tests, I took upon many suggestions and advice. A couple initial rooms
were removed, the overall layout was tightened some, some annoyances were removed and
design consistency was improved. For me, it plays well in with 4 bots - I hope it's just
as fun with real people, but I can't please everyone :)

NOTE: I realize in some spots r_speeds could be kinda high. I had conflicting suggestions
regarding this from "fix it" to "don't worry, this is 2005". I have learned alot doing
this map however, so my next maps will cut down on some of these line-of-sight distances
you'll find.

This map is inspired by the following maps:
