1. What is SemiGraf.

The purpose of this program is to give you an easy access to the semigraphic
characters in the text mode. In particular, drawing frames (single and
double) is much easier using SemiGraf than typing these boring Alt-...
numbers. Although you can also type common characters (letters, numbers
etc.), SemiGraf is not a complete editor: picture size cannot exceed
78x22, there are no block operations and probably many others things.
But if SemiGraf's features are not enough for you, you can call an
external editor from the desktop every time you want. This makes the
SemiGraf's limitations not so annoying. And what profits do you get?
Using this simple tool you can include nice looking pictures to documents
or quickly draw the frames you need for a title page or something similar.

 Here you have a demo:

This is a sample demo demonstrating what you can do using
SemiGraf. Drawing frames takes less time than writing.

2. Using SemiGraf.

As you probably saw, this program is not very complicated (okay,
it's very raw), so all keys are described in the help screen that
is accessed when F1 is pressed.
If SemiGraf is called with a parameter, it will be interpreted as
a name of the file that will be loaded to be edited.
In mode F2 you change the screen size, in modes F3 and F4 you do the
base job. (after starting the program, if no file was loaded, you are
 in F2 mode, don't be surprised ! )
An external editor is called from under COMMAND.COM, so you don't have to
specify its full name if you have it in PATH. It can even be a batch file.
And remember that you exit SemiGraf by pressing F10, not Esc, which is a
 printable character.
  So - read the help.

3. Distributing SemiGraf.

This program is a cardware and can be freely distributed, but only with this
README.TXT file included. If you find SemiGraf useful, please send a postcard

4. Other comments.

Standard disclaimer: I do not take responsibility for any result of using
 this software on your computer.
You probably noticed that my English is not excellent... , but I think
that unless you live in Poland you will understand it better than the same
 written in Polish :-)
