Thank you for choosing the 'HTML Obfuscator/Compressor'.

Requirements: IBM compatable & DOS/WIN3.X/95/98.
*************

Description: This program is intended for use as a method of compressing
************ a HTML document so as to allow for decreased download time
and to deter others from using your code.

Definition of compression method: What this program really does is remove
********************************* all line feeds and all but the one
needed space between words and such.
Thereby creating a page that has source
code that is very difficult for a person
to read but easily read by your browser.

Usage: To use, at the promt, just type in the entire path and file name
****** of the HTML doc. that you want compressed.
       EX: C:\whateverDir\MyPageThing.htm
If your HTML document name or the directory name that it is
contained in is longer than 8 characters then you will have
to type something like this: C:\whatev~1\MyPage~1.htm.
       That is standard DOS stuff.

Next you will type in the full path and file name to tell the
program where you want your new HTML doc. and what you want to
name it. You can name the new one with the same name as the old
and the program will automatically rename the old doc. as
       MyPage.old.

       That's it.
