---------------
1. Requirements
---------------

JCD 4A was designed to run on a 32-bit Windows operating system. The software
has been tested with Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and
Windows 2003 Server. Although not tested with Windows NT, I believe JCD 4A
will also run on that operating system. Finally, JCD 4A should run with no
problems (except the mouse wheel will not scroll disassemblies) on Windows 95.

There are two other requirements: 2 megabytes of free disk space and at least
4 megabytes of RAM.

-------------
2. Files List
-------------

JCD 4A is distributed in a ZIP file named JCD.ZIP. That file consists of four
files:

JCD.CNT - JCD 4A help file table of contents
JCD.EXE - JCD 4A executable
JCD.HLP - JCD 4A help file
readme.txt - JCD 4A important/latest information

---------------
3. Installation
---------------

JCD 4A doesn't come with an installation package. To install JCD 4A, create a
JCD subdirectory underneath your Program Files directory, unzip JCD.ZIP and
copy the four unzipped files to that directory, and create a shortcut on your
Windows desktop to JCD.EXE.

------------------------
4. New/Modified Features
------------------------

JCD 4A contains many new and modified features organized into six categories.
For a list of what's new or changed, go to the help file's Introduction topic
and click the "here" link on the Version history line beginning with "Version
4A."

-------------------------------------
5. License Agreement and Registration
-------------------------------------

JCD 4A is licensed software. In order to use this software, you must agree to
the terms of its license agreement (which locates in the help file). If you
don't agree to those terms, remove all copies of JCD 4A from your computer(s).

JCD 4A is distributed as Shareware and may be used for a 15-day trial period.
After that trial period expires, JCD 4A no longer functions beyond displaying
the Registration dialog box (assuming you click the Later button). To use JCD
4A beyond the 15-day trial period, register your copy of that software. Click
the Help button on the Registration dialog box to get help on registration.
