PS2Rate- PS2 Mouse Port Rate Adjuster

This program was written to adjust the PS2 mouse port sampling rate. The default (at least on my machines) is 60. With this, you can adjust it all the way up to 200. This is supposed to make the mouse more smooth in Quake II. I can't tell the difference, but someone else here that I know can, so your mileage may vary. The UI is pretty self-explanitory. The registry key that it updates is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\i8042prt\Parameters\SampleRate.

Update: This program now works on Windows 2000.

Oh, and if you run it on Windows 95/98, don't take what it says personally. :)

Finally, any modifications you make to your computer's registry (with our without this tool) is your own business and your own risk.
