What is NEWCAL?
NEWCAL.EXE is a small footprint calendar program. Features built into NEWCAL.EXE are two: (1) an alarm clock reminder and, (2) events.txt, which is a place to keep any notes you may want and is activated by clicking any day on the calendar.
==========================
Installation Instructions:

1. Create a new Folder named NEWCAL with a sub-folder named BIN on any hard drive

2. Place File 1, 2, and 3 in your new folder named NEWCAL

3. Place File 4 in root directory C

4. Place a copy of NOTEPAD.EXE (from C:\Windows) in your new folder named NEWCAL

Note: When NEWCAL.EXE is run, it looks for Nctrak.Txt in root C. The contents of Nctrak.Txt is a single alpha character which indicates the drive on which you created your new folders. Nctrak.Txt acts as a pointer for NEWCAL.EXE to tell it where the new folders are located. So if you created your new folders on a drive other than C you need to open Nctrak.Txt in Notepad, change the drive letter pointer, and re-save the file.
==========================
NEWCAL.EXE does not alter .ini or .reg files, or any pre-existing files.
