DesktopVariator

->What is this?

DesktopVariator changes you background wallpaper every time you log
out or shutdown your computer. You just specify a couple of pictures,
arrange the order, and you're done!
This version of DesktopVariator supports Win98 and ActiveDesktop. I
do not think it works in Win95. Use DV Basic if you use Win95.

->Changes:

Varsion 1.11
	I noticed that Windows doesn't update the desktop the way I want to, but I
	think (hope) that this version takes care of that...

Version 1.1
	Woah!! The actual release!
	I have implemented picture preview (not fullscreen mode, though) and
	everything should be working just fine. =)

Version 1.0 Beta 3
	Ok, this version REALLY works!! It seems DVLoader was the only way to make
	Windows update the Desktop properly...

Version 1.0 Beta 2
	Ok, this version actually works... Sorry.

Version 1.0 Beta
	Initial release.
	This is a BETA release. It does not support 'preview' but works in Win98.

->Simple Instructions:

Place the program anywhere you want.

Run the program.

Click the Add button and select some pictures (*.bmp, *.tif, *.jpg, *.pic, *.tga).
Multiple selections are allowed. Select the proper ShowStyles and arrange the list
the way you want it. The topmost picture is the one that will be set as wallpaper.

Make sure the "Register" button is PRESSED! It should say "Registred". DV does little
use if it's not enabled... =) (Btw, DV is freeware so don't be fooled by the shareware
terms...)

Press the Activate button to run DVLoader. Otherwise, DVLoader won't be activated until
you reboot. The button will say "Deactivate" if DVLoader is active. Press it to
deactivate DVLoader (duh!).

Click the OK button and DesktopVariator will now change your wallpaper when you
log off! (Note: You must have Active Desktop enabled also. See below...)

->Things You Should Know:

The fullscreen preview is disabled. Not yet implemented.

DesktopVariator will only work in Win98 with Active Desktop enabled.
To enable Active Desktop, check the proper box in the Display properties
(Control Panel\Display).

DesktopVariator sets the next picture when you log off. It uses the
Registry function "Run" to run DVLoader at boot. This program will then
detect when you log off and it'll change wallpaper.

Do note that a picture that is larger than your screen and is not used with
the Stretched Show Style, will be clipped by Windows.

There no Uninstall program. You have to do this manually.
Remember to unpress the "Register" button, so Registry entries are removed
before deleting the programs. Also remember to deactivate DVLoader.

->Future Features

- Fullscreen preview.
- Automaticly enables Active Desktop. (Status: I cannot find this entry in the Registry
	or elsewhere! Can you help?)
- Support for Win95. (Status: I tried the Basic code, but the Bitmap saving routine i used
	was too slow. If I can speed it up, I'll probably use it in Win98 also...)
- Anything else? Mail me you suggestion!
