Thanks for using Chimer 1.04!

If you think a clock must be seen AND heard, Chimer is just for you! This software will chime just like your grandfather's clock every hour on the hour and also once every half-hour.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Chimer is designed for Windows 95/Windows NT and it assumes your PC has a sound card.
2. To install, simply create a new directory (preferably called C:\Progrma Files\Chimer).
3. Unzip chimer.ZIP into the directory.
4. Once unzipped, you will see three files viz. chimer.EXE, gclock.WAV and readme.TXT.
5. Now, run chimer.EXE by double-clicking it in Windows Explorer and you're on!
6. If you like the idea, add a shortcut to chimer.EXE in your Programs-Startup menu.

IMPORTANT: Chimer DOES NOT display the time, it works invisibly sitting in your system tray. But if you need to put off the Chimer for some reason (without closing the program), simply click on the Chimer icon in the system tray to get a popup menu.

Also note that the file gclock.WAV must exist wherever the chimer.EXE resides. Which means if you move chimer.EXE, you must also move gclock.WAV to the same directory.
