= Introduction

Advanced Windows Password Recovery (or simply AWPR) is a program to recover all types of Windows passwords: logon password (when user is logged on and has Admin privileges), screensaver password, .NET Passport password, RAS and dial-up passwords, passwords to shared resources etc. The program also shows all users and groups (with their properties), allows to run any programs in other user's context, show password history hashes, read password hashes from SAM and SYSTEM files, reveal passwords hidden under the asterisks, enable disabled controls, and run brute-force and dictionary attacks on PWL files (Windows 9x). Finally, it shows product ID and CD key for Windows and Microsoft Office installations.

- Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Server 2003
- about 4 megabytes of free space on hard disk


= Known problems and limitations

Some functions (actually, all ones under 'Main menu' and 'Advanced features') require administrative privileges.

= Registration

Unregistered (trial) version of AWPR has some limitations (see help file for more information). After you register (look at "order.txt" for details), we'll send you your personal registration code. Just enter it press the on 'Options' | 'Register the program' tab in AWPR and press [Register] button there. If the code is correct, AWPR shows the message that it is registered and has the full functionality now.
