# Disk-Mem Panel V 2.45

"Disk-Mem Panel" is a very small panel that displays the free space remaining on your
disks. It stays at the top of the screen or on the system tray. You can move the panel
anywhere on the screen. It refreshes the display every n seconds. It also can display
the memory (Physical and Swap file) free and total in your system. The panel can
optionally select by itself the best position to stay on the screen at any moment. It has
optional alarm for low free disk space.

# How To Install/Uninstall

To Install:
If you have not done so yet:
Just unzip the file into a folder and make a shortcut of the diskmem.exe file to your
start menu.

If you like you can put a shortcut in your StartUp menu in order to run the program every
time you start the Windows.

To Uninstall:
I hope you will not want to remove it but if you do, simply delete the files from the
installation folder:
*diskmem.exe
*diskmem.hlp
*diskalarm.wav
*diskmem.txt

If you want to remove and the registry info for the program you must delete the field
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NSSoft\DiskMemFree

# How to use

The first time that you run the program, it asks for which disks you require the info
shown. Example: Enter CDE to see the free space remaning on disks C,D and E.
To change this later you can right click on the panel and select "set disks..."

You can move the panel by simply clicking on it and drag to any position you wish.

Placing the mouse indicator on the panel (in the numbers of the free disk space) will
allow you to view the total disk space and (in the numbers of the memory) the total
memory (Physical and Swap) in your system. It gives also information for the displayed
object under the mouse.

Right click on the panel to bring up a menu and select:

Show Used Memory	To display the Used Memory (physical and swap). Only one of the
two above (free or used) can be displayed every time.
